Mike bought the VW 5 years ago, stripped it down and did about 85% of the work himself. It has a mild cam 84mm crank, cima 90.5mm pistons, .044 heads, .030 over, dual exhaust with headers. The VW has a screamer kit, Bosch 009 distributor, high output blue coil and finished off with a 4-speed quick trickshift.
